The WT1200 industrial double-shaft shredder is a wider primary-reduction machine for bulky plastic, pallets, drums, appliance scrap and selected industrial waste. Despite the existing URL, metal suitability is not assumed; alloy, thickness, shape and contamination must be reviewed before cutter selection.
Application Boundaries
- Large plastic containers, pallets and moulded housings
- Pipe, sheet and profile scrap after dimension review
- Selected wood, e-waste or light metal-containing scrap
- Primary reduction before magnetic, density or manual separation
Pressurized containers, batteries, hazardous packaging and unknown mixed waste require a dedicated safety and process assessment.
WT1200 Reference Configuration
| Item | Reference value |
|---|---|
| Main-shaft length | 1200 mm |
| Shaft speed | 10–15 rpm |
| Blades | 24 pieces |
| Blade diameter | 440 mm |
| Blade thickness | 50 mm |
| Main motors | 2 × 30 kW |
| Cutting chamber | 1220 × 800 mm |
| Overall dimensions | 4800 × 2000 × 2150 mm |
| Reference weight | 7500 kg |
These values require confirmation for the final machine. Cutter thickness, claw profile, blade material, hopper, controls and overload strategy must match the feed.
Project Information Required
- Material composition and percentage of metal
- Maximum dimensions, wall thickness and piece weight
- Desired output range and downstream separation
- Required hourly throughput and operating schedule
- Feeding height, conveyor or grab-loading method
- Voltage, installation space and dust or fire-control requirements
Compare the WT1000 model or the larger WT1400 heavy-duty shredder.
