The WT1000 double-shaft shredder is a low-speed primary size-reduction machine for bulky plastic, drums, pallets, selected tyres, e-waste housings and compatible industrial scrap. Two shafts pull irregular feed into the cutting chamber without depending on a sizing screen.

Suitable Feed and Operating Boundary
- Bulky plastic containers, pallets and production scrap
- Selected rubber, e-waste housings and mixed industrial items after sorting
- Feed that benefits from high-torque tearing before secondary crushing
- Projects able to define maximum piece size, weight and metal contamination
Pressurised vessels, batteries, explosive material, hardened steel and unknown hazardous feed must be removed. Tyres, e-waste and metal-bearing scrap require a material-specific cutter and downstream separation review.
WT1000 Recorded Reference
| Item | Current page reference |
|---|---|
| Main shaft length | 1000 mm |
| Shaft speed | 10–15 rpm |
| Recorded blades | 24 |
| Blade diameter / thickness | 440 / 40 mm |
| Motor power | 2 × 30 kW |
| Cutting chamber | 1020 × 800 mm |
| Overall dimensions | 4200 × 1600 × 2150 mm |
| Reference weight | 6200 kg |
All values require confirmation against the final cutter, gearbox, hopper, electrical standard and safety package. Actual output depends on feed geometry, bulk density, cutter width, hook profile, contamination and the required discharge size.
Compare WT800 and WT1200
Review the WT800 double-shaft shredder for a smaller recorded chamber. Compare the WT1200 industrial double-shaft shredder when a longer cutting chamber or larger feed system is required.
Model selection should be based on the largest and most difficult feed item, not only the required tonnes per hour.
Request a WT1000 Material Assessment
Use the AMIGE inquiry page to send feed photos, material composition, maximum dimensions and piece weight, metal content, hourly capacity, desired discharge size, feeding method, voltage and site layout.
