Model: Magnetic separator

Taizhou Amige Machinery Co.,Ltd

Product Overview:

This machine is a dry-type scrap copper wire granulator and separator, an integrated system used to recycle electrical cables by mechanically separating high-purity copper from plastic insulation.

Unlike “wet” systems that use water, this “dry” machine utilizes a physical separation process involving crushing and airflow, which avoids wastewater pollution and yields clean copper ready for immediate resale.

Core Components and Functionality

The system integrates several specialized modules into a single, compact unit:

  • Feeding Hopper (Yellow): Raw scrap wires (typically up to 20–25mm in diameter) are introduced here.

  • Main Crusher/Chopper: Inside the housing, high-speed SKD-11 steel blades chop the wires into small segments, usually 3–5mm in size.

  • Airflow Separator: A high-pressure fan blows upward through the crushed mixture. Because copper is much denser than plastic, the air lifts the lighter plastic bits while the heavy copper remains on the separation bed.

  • Vibrating Separation Bed: This table uses gravity and vibration to further refine the sorting, guiding clean “copper rice” to the front outlet and plastic pellets to the rear.

  • Dust Collection System (Grey/Blue Unit): An integrated filtration system (such as a pulse dust collector) captures fine particles to maintain a clean workspace.

  • PLC Control Panel: A centralized electrical cabinet used to manage power and adjust vibration and airflow speeds for optimal purity.

This machine can be used for magnetic materials and non-magnetic material separating.

How It Works: The Process This machine uses mechanical crushing and air separation rather than burning or chemicals,

This specific type is a dry-type machine, meaning it uses air and physical separation rather than water, which
