Unlike “wet” systems that use water, this “dry” machine uses a physical separation process involving crushing and airflow, making it environmentally friendly with no wastewater discharge.

Feeding Hopper (Yellow): Raw scrap wires (typically up to 20-25mm in diameter) are introduced here.

Main Crusher: Inside the housing, high-speed SKD-11 steel blades chop the wires into small segments, usually 3–5mm in size.

Airflow Separator: A high-pressure fan blows upward through the crushed mixture. Because copper is much denser than plastic, the air lifts the lighter plastic bits while the heavy copper remains on the separation bed.

Vibrating Screen: This table uses gravity and vibration to further refine the sorting, guiding clean “copper rice” to the front outlet and plastic pellets to another.

Essential Maintenance Tips
To maintain high purity rates and extend machine life, follow these guidelines:

Blade Care: Crusher blades are wearable parts; they should be sharpened or replaced if they become dull, which is indicated by a drop in breaking efficiency.

Sieve Cleaning: The internal screens (3mm–5mm) should be cleaned regularly to prevent dust buildup from blocking essential airflow.

Lubrication: Add new grease to operating parts regularly (e.g., every 40 hours of operation) and to the crusher bearings every 8 hours.

Magnetic Separation: If your scrap contains iron (common in automotive harnesses), it is highly recommended to use a magnetic separator at the input stage to protect the granulation blades.
