The AMIGE hydraulic tire sidewall cutter separates or sections reinforced sidewall material from large waste tires before shredding, block cutting or granulation. Hydraulic cutting force is useful where thick rubber and steel reinforcement make manual or light-duty preparation impractical.
This machine is a tire pre-processing unit, not a complete recycling plant. The correct cutter must be selected from the real tire size, construction, sidewall thickness, required cut and downstream process.
Typical Applications
- Truck and other heavy-duty waste tire pre-processing.
- Separating or sizing thick sidewall sections.
- Preparing oversized rubber for a cutter or tire shredder.
- Reducing difficult feed pieces before rubber granulation.
Hydraulic Cutting Process
The tire or sidewall section is positioned in the cutting area, and the hydraulic system drives the blade through the reinforced rubber. Guarding, stable positioning and an appropriate material-handling method are essential parts of the final installation.
Information Required for Selection
- Tire type and maximum outside diameter.
- Sidewall thickness and reinforcement condition.
- Required cut shape or section size.
- Hourly or daily processing target.
- Downstream equipment, operating hours, country and voltage.
For the next reduction stage, review the heavy-duty tire shredding system and other equipment in the AMIGE shredder range.
