The SMW PVC pulverizer is designed for grinding rigid PVC production scrap, including pipe offcuts, profiles, sheets and edge material, into powder that can be evaluated for reuse in extrusion or compounding. It is a turbo-type pulverizer intended for material that has already been reduced to a suitable feed size.
Best-Fit Applications
- Rigid PVC pipe and profile scrap
- PVC sheet and plate offcuts
- Regrind preparation after shredding or granulation
- Production plants that need a defined powder range before blending
The machine uses a high-speed cutter assembly and airflow to move material through the grinding chamber. Fine powder leaves with the airflow, while larger particles remain in the grinding zone for further size reduction. A vibration screen can be specified when tighter powder classification is required.
Reference Model Range
| Model | Disc diameter | Rotary blades | Static blades | Main motor | Reference capacity |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SMW-500 | 483 mm | 24 | 12 | 37 kW | 200–300 kg/h |
| SMW-600 | 583 mm | 28 | 14 | 45/55 kW | 300–400 kg/h |
| SMW-800 | 783 mm | 36 | 6 | 75/110 kW | 500–1000 kg/h |
The figures above are reference configurations, not guaranteed output. Actual throughput depends on PVC formulation, feed size, moisture, target mesh, cooling and screen arrangement.
What to Confirm Before Selection
- PVC type and whether the feed contains fillers or reinforcement
- Maximum feed size after pre-crushing
- Required powder mesh and allowable oversize
- Target hourly output and operating hours
- Available voltage, frequency and installation space
- Dust collection, screening and conveying requirements
Compare this machine with the MPD automated disc pulverizing system and MPT PVC turbo pulverizing system, or review the pulverizer range.
