The HB Series large plastic film agglomerators are intended for higher-volume densification of PE, PP and selected soft thermoplastic scrap. Rotating and fixed knives cut the material while friction heat and controlled cooling help form denser agglomerates for downstream extrusion.
When to Consider the Larger HB Series
- Loose film volume exceeds the practical batch size of HB-200L
- The plant needs higher densification output before extrusion
- Material handling requires a larger pot and motor range
- Multiple soft-plastic streams need model selection by batch behaviour
An agglomerator does not replace melt filtration, degassing or final pelletizing. Material trials may be needed for printed, multilayer, wet or mixed-polymer feed.
Recorded Series Range
| Item | Current page reference |
|---|---|
| Chamber volume | 400/600/700/800/1000 L |
| Rotary knives | 2–4 pieces |
| Rotary speed | 950 rpm |
| Fixed knives | 6–8 pieces |
| Main motor | 90/110/132/160/200 kW |
| Reference weight | 1.8–2.5 t |
| Reference output | 400–1000 kg/h, material dependent |
The recorded values describe a series range rather than one standard machine. Final chamber, motor, knife arrangement, weight and output must be matched as one confirmed model.
Project Information Required
- Polymer type, film thickness and representative photos
- Printing, coating, labels and other contamination
- Moisture and incoming bulk density
- Required batch cycle and hourly output
- Downstream extrusion and feeding method
- Voltage, cooling water, floor space and operating hours
Compare the smaller HB-200L agglomerator or the compactor-fed film pelletizing line when continuous feeding and extrusion are required.
