The HB-200L plastic film agglomerator cuts, heats and densifies thin thermoplastic film and soft scrap into a more compact feed for storage or downstream extrusion. It is a friction-based agglomeration process, not a complete melt-filtering and pelletizing line.
Suitable Feed for Assessment
- Thin PE or PP film and bag scrap
- Selected soft PVC or PS material after compatibility review
- Lightweight thermoplastic offcuts with low metal contamination
- Flexible scrap requiring bulk-density improvement before extrusion
Material containing excessive moisture, sand, metal, incompatible polymers or hazardous residue requires pre-treatment. The current record describes material below 2 mm wall thickness, which must be confirmed for the actual feed.
HB-200L Reference Configuration
| Item | Reference value |
|---|---|
| Chamber volume | 200 L |
| Rotary knives | 2 pieces |
| Rotary speed | 950 rpm |
| Fixed knives | 6 pieces |
| Main motor | 55 kW |
| Reference weight | 1.2 t |
| Reference output | 200–300 kg/h |
These figures come from the current product record and require confirmation. Output depends on polymer, film thickness, moisture, batch size, cooling-water addition and operator cycle.
Information Required for Selection
- Polymer type and material photos
- Film thickness, bag construction and contamination
- Incoming moisture and bulk density
- Target batch size and hourly output
- Downstream extruder or pelletizing method
- Voltage, cooling water and operating schedule
Compare the larger HB Series agglomerators or the forced-feeder film pelletizing machine for downstream melting and pelletizing.
