The WPS600 is a compact single-shaft plastic shredder for controlled size reduction of smaller rigid-plastic scrap and production waste. A hydraulic pusher moves material toward the rotor, while the screen helps control the discharge range before downstream granulation, washing or conveying.
Best-Fit Applications
- Injection-moulded rejects and plastic lumps within the chamber limit
- Short pipe, profile and sheet offcuts
- Small containers, housings and hollow plastic parts
- Pre-shredding before a crusher or granulator
Film, woven bags, rope and other flexible feed can wrap around an unsuitable rotor. The material form, bulk density and feeding behaviour must be reviewed before using the same configuration for rigid and flexible plastics.
WPS600 Reference Configuration
| Item | Reference value |
|---|---|
| Main-shaft length | 600 mm |
| Rotor diameter | 280 mm |
| Main-shaft speed | 78 rpm |
| Ram travel | 600 mm |
| Rotor blades | 39 pieces |
| Fixed blades | 2 pieces |
| Main motor | 22 kW |
| Hydraulic power | 2 kW |
| Screen opening | 30–80 mm |
| Cutting chamber | 600 × 600 mm |
| Overall dimensions | 1750 × 1400 × 1780 mm |
| Reference weight | 2800 kg |
These values come from the current product record and require confirmation. Throughput depends on material strength, feed dimensions, bulk density, screen opening, blade arrangement and downstream restrictions.
Information Required for Selection
- Material name, photos and composition
- Maximum length, width, wall thickness and piece weight
- Required hourly throughput and output size
- Feeding method and available floor space
- Downstream crusher, washing or conveying equipment
- Country, voltage, frequency and operating hours
