The 918-AO cable stripping machine uses a single-roller, single-blade layout for mechanically opening insulation on sorted scrap wire. It is intended for small recycling yards, cable processors and maintenance workshops handling repeatable cable sizes.
Suitable Cable and Operating Boundary
- Copper or aluminium cable within the recorded 1–25 mm range
- Straight, individually fed wire with a consistent outer jacket
- PVC, rubber or compatible insulation after a sample check
- Projects preferring mechanical stripping over granulation
Fine communication wire, tangled harnesses, armoured cable and mixed bundles may not feed reliably. A cable granulator may be more suitable when the conductor cannot be recovered by longitudinal stripping.
918-AO Recorded Reference
| Item | Current page reference |
|---|---|
| Motor power | 1.5 kW |
| Voltage | 220 / 380 V |
| Recorded cable range | 1–25 mm |
| Recorded blades | 8 |
| Recorded feed-hole entry | 3 + 8 |
| Reference speed | 30 m/min |
| Machine dimensions | 55 × 51 × 84 cm |
| Reference weight | 60 kg |
The blade and feed-hole entries require confirmation against the final machine. Processing speed depends on cable straightness, jacket hardness, conductor construction and operator adjustment.
Compare Single- and Dual-Roller Models
Review the 918-F dual-roller cable stripping machine for a wider recorded cable range and dual-roller feed. Compare the 918-J/JO dual-blade cable stripping machine when the cable requires two-blade cutting and a 2.2 kW motor.
Buyers should compare sample feed stability and stripped-copper quality rather than selecting only from maximum cable diameter.
Request an 918-AO Cable Test
Send cable cross-section photos, conductor material, jacket type, minimum and maximum diameter, daily volume, desired stripping result, voltage and workshop conditions through the AMIGE inquiry page.
