A magnetic separation conveyor transfers plastic recycling feed while creating a controlled point for removing ferrous contamination before the next process. It can be considered between sorting, crushing, washing, drying or storage stages when loose metal may damage downstream equipment or reduce product quality.

The current source page does not record belt width, magnet strength, conveyor speed or working height. These values must therefore be configured from the material and line layout rather than assumed from a generic model name.
Where the Conveyor Fits in a Recycling Line
- Feeding rigid plastic, film or mixed plastic into a crusher or washer.
- Transferring washed material between separation and drying modules.
- Removing loose ferrous pieces before size reduction or sensitive downstream equipment.
- Connecting equipment at different heights with an inclined conveying section.
The conveyor should be evaluated as part of the complete material flow. Review AMIGE’s agricultural film washing line and PP woven bag washing line for examples of upstream and downstream integration.
Configuration Inputs Required
| Buyer input | Configuration decision |
|---|---|
| Plastic type and bulk density | Belt surface, sidewall and drive selection |
| Maximum piece size and shape | Belt width, inclination and feed control |
| Ferrous contaminant type and size | Magnetic arrangement and removal point |
| Required throughput | Belt speed and drive power |
| Upstream and downstream equipment | Inlet height, discharge height and interface |
| Workshop layout and electrical standard | Conveyor length, frame arrangement and controls |
Integration and Safety Checks
The proposal should define the feed chute, belt tracking, guarding, emergency stop, metal discharge path and access for cleaning. Wet, dirty or irregular feed may require different belt surfaces and frame protection. Magnet performance must be confirmed with representative contaminants rather than described with an unsupported separation percentage.
The existing product image is retained as a recycling-line conveyor overview; it should not be treated as confirmation of the final magnetic configuration.
Request a Conveyor Layout
Send material photos, maximum piece size, ferrous contaminant samples, target throughput, inlet and discharge heights, available floor space and voltage through the AMIGE inquiry page. AMIGE will define the conveyor and magnetic-removal interface around the actual line.
