The 918-B and 918-B1 cable stripping machines are heavy-duty models for prepared large-diameter cable. The current table records a 2–100 mm range for 918-B and 2–160 mm for 918-B1, with different motor and frame options.

When to Assess 918-B or 918-B1
- Large copper or aluminium cable within the recorded model range
- Cable that can be fed individually after connector removal
- Projects needing a heavier frame and two feed holes
- Buyers able to provide representative cross-sections for sample testing
Submarine, armoured and multi-core cable cannot be selected by outside diameter alone. Steel reinforcement, jacket layers and conductor construction determine whether stripping is practical.
918-B and 918-B1 Recorded Reference
| Item | 918-B | 918-B1 |
|---|---|---|
| Motor power entry | 3 / 4 kW | 3 / 5.5 kW |
| Voltage | 220 / 380 V | 220 / 380 V |
| Recorded cable range | 2–100 mm | 2–160 mm |
| Recorded blades | 4 | 4 |
| Recorded feed holes | 2 | 2 |
| Reference speed | 30 m/min | 30 m/min |
| Machine dimensions | 80 × 58 × 120 cm | 90 × 68 × 130 cm |
| Reference weight | 200 kg | 250 kg |
The slash-form motor entries require confirmation of the available configuration; they are not combined installed powers. Actual stripping speed depends on cable preparation, construction, blade setting and operator control.
Compare 918-KOD and 918-KOC
Review the 918-KOD large-cable stripping machine for a simpler recorded 10–70 mm model. Compare the 918-KOC cable stripping machine for a 3 kW, six-hole arrangement within a recorded 1–65 mm range.
Model selection should use the most difficult cable sample, not the widest nominal range in the table.
