The WLS1200 is a large-chamber single-shaft shredder for bulky rigid plastics such as pallets, drums, bins, thick sheets and hollow moulded products. Its built-in hydraulic pusher feeds material toward the rotor, making it suitable for pieces that cannot be consistently gravity-fed into a smaller chamber.
Where the WLS1200 Fits
- Large plastic pallets and chemical drums
- Garbage bins and bulky hollow products
- Thick-wall sheets, pipes and moulded rejects
- Projects requiring a wider internal chamber with controlled screen discharge
The machine should be assessed separately for flexible film, metal-containing feed or hazardous containers. Emptying, cleaning and safety requirements must be confirmed before processing used chemical packaging.

The table is reference data, not guaranteed performance. Throughput is determined by the material, piece dimensions, pusher cycle, screen opening, blade condition and downstream process.
Selection Questions
- What are the maximum pallet, drum or part dimensions?
- Does the feed contain liquid, metal inserts or other contamination?
- What output size is required before granulation or washing?
- How will the material be loaded and discharged?
- What are the required throughput and daily operating hours?
- What voltage, frequency and installation space are available?
For a smaller chamber, compare the WPS1000 single-shaft shredder. Review the broader WPS Series when multiple model sizes are being evaluated.
